10 Steps to Forever New Bikinis

We all have those pieces that are so gorgeous, some handmade, with details that give the bikini and ourselves a perfect representation of us; bright colors, beads, ruffles, hand embroidery, lace, you name it. We love it all! However, when it's time to wash these beauties, it can be a little bit of a pain to keep it in tip-top shape. Here are some quick tips for your gorgeous bikinis:

1. Do not use a washing machine

2. NEVER put your bikini in the dryer

3. Always hand-wash your pieces in cold water

4. Hang to dry, preferably indoor to make sure the sun does not dim the colors

5. Do not use fabric softener (it can damage the lycra)

6. Do not use an iron; it will ruin your gorgeous bikini

7. When using sun tanning lotions or sunscreen, be careful when applying it to avoid staining your pieces

8. Remember to wash your bikini after being in the pool, in the ocean or river, to get rid of chlorine, salt, sand, etc.

9. Do not put away your bikini if it is still wet

10. Remember to bring your bikini with you everywhere you go, you never know when you'll need it
